He is currently working on a NASA-sponsored public outreach program for a satellite named GLAST (Gamma Ray Large Area Space Telescope).Phil is the author of Bad Astronomy and his website is BadAstronomy.com

Tue, 6 March 2007 First Recorded Oct 31th, 2003.Henry Gilbert is an evolutionary biologist and has worked in the field looking for hominids for over a decade. His graduate research has focused on many fields related to the origin of our species: geology, anatomy, evolutionary theory, paleolithic archaeology, and mammal systematics. He has been an author on numerous major hominid papers, including a recent revision of Homo erectus in Nature and this summer's announcement of the discovery in Africa of the earliest known Homo sapiens. He is currently finishing his dissertation on a million year old Homo erectus site in East Africa.
